KS1/KS2 Tuition (inc SATs)

KS3 English / Biology

from £50 per hour / £30 per 30 mins in person or online


Usual sessions are 1 hour per week, but sometimes a 45- or 30-minute session per week can be more suitable for some with time issues (or shorter attention spans).  Lesson feedback given to parents within time allocation. Homework feedback given to student during the next session to maximise learning.

KS4

GCSE English Language

GCSE Biology

in person or online

Personalised sessions ranging from long-term tuition with integrated assessment points from the beginning of Year 10, to fixed, short-term revision sessions closer to exam time.

7+ / 11+ Tuition and Preparation

from £55 per hour / £35 per 30 mins in-person or online.

Tuition and preparation for entry to local independent schools and the West Midlands Grammar School Consortium (including Birmingham Consortium).

Tuition is inclusive of all areas of GL testing: Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, English and Numerical Reasoning.

Sessions involve 7+ / 11+ specific subject matter and testing techniques, tailored to the student's individual needs.

Tuition for 11+ usually begins at the start of Year 4, but later applicants are more than welcome!

Students for 7+ welcomed from their Year 1 Summer Term and are tailored according to need.

Help your own child to learn!

An in person or Online bespoke package tailored to help you help your own child.  Packages can include ongoing 30 min or hourly sessions (as offered for a tuition service), or a set course can be created to cover the content or number of hours you require.  Examples of this might be a 4-hour booking (session timings of 1 hour each) with an hour dedicated to 4 areas of choice, to a one-off ad-hoc session as required.  

 

Packages can include:

* Phonics Training

* Techniques to develop reading understanding /comprehension

* Mathematics training to understand progression in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

* Handwriting

* Understand how to help your child improve their fiction and non-fiction writing skills

ANY COMBINATION OF HOURS/SUBJECTS CONSIDERED.

'Catch-Up' or SEND Support

KS1/2 & Years 7/8/9

from £50 per hour / £30 per 30 mins in person or online

 ENGLISH/MATHS/SCIENCE

 

Catch-Up sessions start with a test to pinpoint areas of weakness and a personalised plan is developed from there, although  other methods of assessment can be used for those students who are test-averse.

- 'all in' for groups of up to 10 pupils

Bespoke packages for home schooling.  Non-National Curriculum Subjects/Experience also catered for.

Quality lessons from an experienced qualified teacher who understands that children can learn doing non-National Curriculum activities in a variety of settings.
