Service Description

11+ group sessions registration for 2-hour sessions for 5 weeks in Spring 2, 2026. £37.50 per 2-hours, or £18.75 per hour. Suitable for Yr4 and Yr5 children. Existing members - please contact Mrs BC's Tutor Room directly before booking. Dates: 1st*, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th March. These dates can also be found on the Cofton Village Hall website at https://coftonvillagehall.org/page/calendar. Your package includes: - Coverage of all areas including English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning and Spatial Reasoning. You will receive a run-down of subjects/topics that were covered in Autumn 2 2025 and Spring 1 2026 - you can either make sure your child covers these areas outside sessions using your own materials, or you can purchase a package containing all materials used in those sessions for a one-off fee** - Homework tasks after every session. - Feedback sheet after each session. Ongoing communications. - Support according to age group, individualised where possible. What happens in a session? Children are taught the subject matter for each topic area that day according to a carefully-planned curriculum which covers all areas throughout the academic year. They then take part in activities that consolidate understanding from the first hour, with an aim to provide 1-1 opportunities for all throughout the half-term. Is this all my child needs? Yes... and no. I provide everything that your child needs in terms of subject knowledge, and they will certainly get some 1-1 tuition time in the sessions. After each session, your child will have a booklet of activities pitched so they can spend time getting used to the learning OR to take their learning up a level. You can also sign up for week-day 'reminder' messages to keep learning on track. What happens when this block of sessions finishes? When this block of sessions finishes, your son or daughter can continue ongoing tuition by booking half-termly blocks (packages) in Summer 1 half-term onwards, although there is no obligation for you to take further packages. *The 1st March session is an open-to-all VR-focused workshop, so your child will experience valuable extra collaboration. **Downloadable copies of all materials used in Autumn 2 and Spring 1 (which includes course notes and homework packs containing multiple activities for all topics) are available for a one-off payment of £37. 50

Cancellation Policy

Full Ts &Cs are available at mrsbctutoring.com (under 'Useful Information') Single Examinations: - NO changes to exam sessions or times can be made within 14 days of the exam date. - Cancellations made up to 14 days in advance will receive a 100% refund. - Cancellations made within 14 days of the exam date will NOT be issued a refund. Block-booked group sessions or exams packages: - All block sessions/examinations must be paid in full, in their entirety. - Refunds are not issued for any sessions not attended. - Cancellations to block-booked group/exam bookings can only be made within the first 14 days of purchase. After this time, if your child is unable to attend an exam, we will transfer your booking to an online mock exam at our to be held at a mutually agreed time. - Refunds/fee rollovers will be issued in case of session cancellation by MBTR. - No refunds will be issued for cancellation of remaining group sessions once sessions for that half-term have started. Cancellation: Workshops - Workshops are fully refundable up to and including the 14th day from booking. They are non-refundable after this time and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. Cancellation of Ad-Hoc Online Sessions: - Up to 24 hours in advance: Sessions can be cancelled for a full refund up to 24 hours in advance. - Less than 24 hours in advance: If cancelled between 12-24 hours in advance, sessions will be refunded at 50% of the fee paid (eg. a refund of £20 would be given for an original session fee of £40) If cancelled between 6-12 hours in advance, sessions will be refunded at 25% of the fee paid (eg. a refund of £10 would be given for an original session fee of £40) - No refunds are issued under the following circumstances: a) The session is cancelled with less than 6 hours' notice. b) The session was originally booked only 6 or less hours in advance. Refunds: - We aim to issue refunds within 7 days of confirmation of cancellation. This cancellation/refund policy is specific to this service (Mrs BC's Tutor Room and/or 11+ Mock Examinations Service) and, due to the fundamental difference in how this service is operated and disseminated, the cancellations/refund policy specific to the mock examinations service takes precedence over any other cancellation policy issued by Birmingham 11+ Mock Examinations Services or by Mrs BC's Tutor Room. All other Terms and Conditions remain the same.
